The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce held its 27th annual Chamber Challenge golf tournament on Wednesday, April 25 at Sequoyah National Golf Club in Cherokee, N.C. 124 golfers on 31 teams of four participated in the annual fundraiser. Following are the flight winners:
First place in first/Qualla flight:

* Eric Farmer was the 50/50 prize winner
* Andrew Maney was the Super Raffle winner for a Pinehurst, N.C. trip package
* Cameron Lyons won the longest drive.
* Closest to the Pin winner was Will Peoples
Most participants took home other raffle prizes that were generously donated by chamber members.
The event is a major fundraiser for the chamber, helping to support operations, Concerts on the Creek, July 4 Fireworks, scholarships at WCU and SCC, plus much more.
