As the bearlakereserve.com site says: “Offering a par-29, 1,932-yard course at the lofty elevation of 3,400’ to 3,700’, it has some of the best views in the community. You’re going to have to work hard to concentrate while teeing off on the seventh hole, since you’ll be looking at a breathtaking 80-mile panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the valley below.”
There are no par 5 holes on the nine-hole course and this is a fun and challenging course for any level of player. It features some very tough par 3 holes. The course is especially fun with kids as I found out with my son Josh. We had a great time and the course was a perfect length. Oh and the views!
